Dr. Omar Esponda, M.D. RPVI RPhs is board-certified in Internal Medicine as well as a Diplomat of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine Society. Furthermore, he received his certification as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation and is a Registered Phlebology Sonographer.

Dr. Esponda started his career as a vascular specialist 10 years ago. “I choose to specialize in the vascular disease processes to optimize outcomes and improve a patient’s quality of life”. He formally trained in vascular medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and later further specialized in surgical phlebology at the New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Esponda is a published author of scientific literature and has held successful academic positions as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and Clinical Instructor at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Esponda has since dedicated himself to the care of vascular pathologies in an outpatient setting.
