Lan Raikar, M.D. is a board-certified surgeon and vein specialist with over 20 years of experience in general surgery. Over the course of her career Dr. Raikar has strived to create a patient centric atmosphere for her patients. “It’s rewarding to see how beneficial these treatments are for patients”, says Dr. Raikar.

Dr. Raikar received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr. Lan Raikar then continued her medical training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic of College of Medicine where she performed extensive research in both General and Cardiac Surgery. “To be a surgeon requires incredible precision and dexterity. That is the skillset that I bring to UVVC”, says Dr. Raikar.

Dr. Lan Raikar keeps up with the latest advancements in the treatment of vein disease and general medicine by serving as an active member in multiple medical societies, including the American College of Surgeons as well as the American College of Phlebology.
