Walking Independently Again with Less Leg Swelling
John A. came to United Vein & Vascular Centers in Palm Beach Gardens after experiencing leg pain, swelling, and blood pooling. These symptoms affected his mobility and made it harder to move around independently.
After having his legs evaluated, John began a treatment plan that included vein ablation and injections. Since receiving care, he reports that the swelling has subsided and walking has become more comfortable.
One of the most meaningful changes has been regaining his independence. John can now walk without relying on a walker or cane. He also shared that he no longer needs physical therapy, marking another important change in his daily routine.
The changes have reached beyond John’s physical mobility. With greater independence and less swelling, he has noticed a more positive mood and better overall quality of life.
John described the care he received from the physician and staff as wonderful. He felt comfortable throughout his experience and would “absolutely” encourage anyone uncertain about seeking care to take the next step.
Why His Story Matters
- Leg pain, swelling, and blood pooling can make independent movement more difficult
- Improved mobility can reduce reliance on walking aids during everyday activities
- Regaining independence can support a more positive mood and better quality of life
