JONATHAN KIEV, M.D.

Dr. Jonathan Kiev is a board-certified surgeon and vein specialist with more than 25 years of experience in surgery and minimally invasive procedures. His expertise spans thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and advanced endovascular techniques, with a career dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovation and compassionate care.

Dr. Kiev earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Barnabas Medical Center, followed by advanced training in cardiothoracic and thoracic surgery at Loma Linda University, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and the Mayo Clinic.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Kiev has held positions at leading hospitals and academic institutions, including serving as Director of Thoracic Surgical Services at Virginia Commonwealth University, Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Kentucky, and staff surgeon at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He has also treated patients across the country in both academic and community settings, bringing a wide-ranging perspective to his practice.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kiev has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, served as a guest reviewer for leading surgical journals, and received recognition for his contributions to surgical research and education. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of multiple professional societies, including the Society of Thoracic Surgery and the American Venous Forum.
