HARVEY ECHOLS, M.D.
Dr. Harvey Echols, M.D. is a seasoned venous and lymphatic medicine specialist who brings a wealth of experience to the UVVC team. Dr. Echols earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Monmouth College. He then completed his residency at Cook County Hospital, serving as Chief Resident.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Echols has contributed to medical literature through his many publications and held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at three medical schools.
Dr. Echols is committed to providing comprehensive care for his patients. His patient-centered approach emphasizes understanding the individual impact of vein disease on each patient’s daily life. He states, “I will be available to my patients to discuss their vein disease and treatments; I will always treat them with the utmost respect and consideration; and I will treat their vein disease to the best of my ability.”
