ADALBERTO GONZALEZ, M.D.

Dr. Adalberto Gonzalez is a board-certified vascular surgeon with nearly 40 years of experience treating patients in the greater Phoenix area. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of vein and vascular conditions, with a focus on minimally invasive, state-of-the-art procedures for venous disorders of the legs.

Dr. Gonzalez completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University and earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at Maricopa County Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, and received advanced training in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in Los Angeles at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan and the University of Southern California affiliated hospitals.

Throughout his career, Dr. Gonzalez has held leadership positions in surgery and has contributed to medical education as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix and as Affiliate Faculty at Creighton University School of Medicine.

Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. Gonzalez is an active member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Western Thoracic Surgical Association, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Phlebology.
