When Burning Legs Made Sleep Difficult
This patient came to United Vein & Vascular Centers – Goodyear after experiencing burning in her legs, heaviness, and difficulty sleeping. She also found it difficult to stand for long periods or walk longer distances.
Gina received radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and Varithena® treatments for the affected veins. Following treatment, she noticed that some of the heaviness had lifted.
Gina continued to deal with knee problems and swelling, but she reported feeling better overall. Even with those concerns, the relief from some of the heaviness made a difference in how she felt.
