CONSTANTINE ANDREW, M.D.
Dr. Constantine Andrew is a board-certified vascular surgeon and endovascular specialist with more than three decades of experience treating complex arterial and venous disease. He is widely respected for his technical expertise, thoughtful decision-making, and lifelong commitment to patient-centered care. Throughout his career, Dr. Andrew has focused on providing state-of-the-art vascular treatment while building long-term, trusted relationships with his patients.
Dr. Andrew’s inspiration to pursue medicine began at home in a small town in Virginia, where his father practiced as a traditional family physician. Watching his father deliver babies, perform procedures, and care for generations of families instilled in him a deep respect for medicine as both a science and a responsibility to show up for people. That foundation continues to shape his approach to care today.
He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his general surgery residency at Cooper University Hospital, followed by fellowship training in vascular surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has since dedicated his career to vascular surgery, a field that resonated with his desire for intellectual rigor, hands-on problem solving, and the opportunity to treat patients suffering from serious vascular disease.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Andrew has played a significant role in medical education and leadership. He has served as Medical Director of Vascular Services and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Virtua Health, while also teaching and mentoring general surgery residents, many of whom have gone on to pursue vascular surgery fellowships. He takes pride in helping advance the field through both patient care and education.
Dr. Andrew’s care philosophy centers on empathy, respect, and partnership. He treats every patient as he would a member of his own family, never judging past lifestyle choices, but instead focusing on creating individualized, achievable treatment plans. He believes that trust, clear communication, and compassion are essential to delivering excellent vascular care.
