Grapevine, TX
January 16, 2026 – January 17, 2026
The UVVC Physician Symposium: Pioneering Advancements in Vascular Care is a live, accredited continuing medical education (CME) activity focused on addressing contemporary challenges and emerging best practices in lower extremity vascular disease. This two-day symposium convenes expert faculty from United Vein & Vascular Centers and related disciplines to examine advances in vascular pathophysiology, evidence-based diagnostic and procedural techniques, and multidisciplinary strategies for patient-centered care. Through a combination of didactic lectures, case-based learning, and interactive discussions, participants will gain practical insights to inform clinical decision-making and optimize patient care across a wide range of venous and arterial conditions.
Beyond clinical updates, the program emphasizes the application of evidence-based care in real-world practice by exploring workflow inefficiencies, system-level barriers, and documentation practices that influence patient safety, access, quality of care, and clinician well-being. Jointly provided by Oakstone Publishing and United Vein & Vascular Centers, this activity supports learners in translating emerging evidence into practice improvement and enhanced patient care.
Learning Objectives
Upon the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate current and emerging vascular pathophysiology to identify opportunities for evidence-based practice improvement.
- Apply multidisciplinary, standards-based approaches to the management of lower extremity vascular disease.
- Differentiate evidence-based procedural techniques and treatments to guide clinical decision-making and optimize patient care.
- Analyze how workflow inefficiencies and system barriers contribute to preventable patient safety events, patient satisfaction challenges, and clinician well-being.
- Develop practical strategies to optimize clinical workflows and patient care delivery, enhancing efficiency, access, and procedural outcomes in lower extremity vascular care.
TARGET AUDIENCE: General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants
