How Healing a Painful Leg Wound Changed Her Daily Comfort
Lindsey L. came to United Vein & Vascular Centers – Duluth after developing a painful leg wound that was not healing properly. Her evaluation identified circulation problems that could be contributing to the wound, and she learned that addressing the affected veins would require a series of procedures.
As part of her care plan, Lindsey underwent cyanoacrylate closure (CAC) and Varithena®. Although the thought of vein treatment initially made her uneasy, she decided to move forward in hopes of helping the wound heal and improving how her legs felt.
The results have made a significant difference. Lindsey shared that her wound has healed, the extreme pain it once caused is gone, and her legs do not feel as heavy as they did before. With less discomfort limiting her movement, she is now able to get around more comfortably and experience greater ease in her everyday life.
Her experience with the Duluth team also left a lasting impression. Lindsey described the staff as amazing and said the clinic was one of the most pleasant medical offices she had encountered. She appreciated the care she received and plans to remain connected with the team as she continues focusing on her health.
For anyone feeling nervous about treatment, Lindsey offers encouragement from her own experience. She believes moving forward was a good decision for her health and would recommend the clinic to others who may need similar care.
