Dr. Richard Alexander is a board-certified surgeon with over a decade of experience, specializing in minimally invasive and vascular procedures. His path to surgery was inspired by a lifelong interest in medicine and a desire to help others in meaningful, immediate ways. Drawn to the complexity of the vascular system, he brings a steady, thoughtful approach to each case, focusing on patient comfort, education, and long-term results.
Dr. Alexander earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Lincoln University and his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Howard University Hospital, followed by advanced fellowship training in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at both Howard and the Texas Endosurgery Institute.
