Dr. John Scott is a board-certified anesthesiologist and vein specialist with more than 30 years of experience in perioperative and interventional care. He provides patient-centered, minimally invasive solutions for managing acute and chronic pain, always striving to improve comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Scott earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his anesthesiology residency and acute and chronic pain fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, followed by an advanced fellowship in Cardiovascular Anesthesia at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Scott has served in numerous clinical and leadership roles across Texas, including Chief of Pain Medicine and Vice Chief of Surgery at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine. He has also served as Chief Medical Officer for multiple healthcare organizations, bringing extensive administrative and clinical expertise to every role.

An active member of both state and national medical societies, Dr. Scott has contributed to advancing standards in anesthesiology, pain management, and clinical governance. He currently serves on several American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) committees, including those dedicated to pain management, communication, and clinical efficiency.

Dr. Scott believes in compassionate, individualized care that prioritizes communication, patient education, and collaboration. He takes time to understand each patient’s unique needs and tailors every treatment plan to deliver the best possible outcome.
