JEFFREY FRIEDMAN, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Friedman is a board-certified surgeon with more than two decades of experience in minimally invasive and vascular surgery. He is known for his precision, compassionate care, and dedication to improving patients’ lives through advanced, evidence-based treatment.
Dr. Friedman earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies in Biology at Emory University. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at Mary Imogene Bassett Healthcare, where he also served as Chief Resident. He later completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Sacred Heart Health System.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Friedman has served in numerous clinical and academic leadership roles, including Medical Director of surgical programs and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Florida. He has gained national and international recognition for his surgical expertise, research, and contributions to the field of minimally invasive and vascular care.
Dr. Friedman’s approach to medicine is rooted in empathy and personal connection. Having been a patient himself, he understands the importance of trust and compassion in the healing process. He treats every patient as if they were family, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and supported from consultation to recovery.
