Dr. Douglas Sanders is board-certified surgeon and vein specialist with more than 25 years of experience in surgical and vascular care. He is dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief from vein disease through advanced, minimally invasive procedures that improve circulation, reduce discomfort, and restore confidence.

A native of Florida, Dr. Sanders earned both his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida. He completed his general surgery residency and served as Chief Resident at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Since that time, he has practiced extensively throughout Florida, treating a wide range of surgical and vascular conditions in both hospital and outpatient settings.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Sanders has held numerous leadership and teaching positions, including Chief of Surgery and Member of the Medical Executive Committee at St. Lucie Medical Center, as well as Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida State University College of Medicine. His approach to patient care emphasizes skill, compassion, and a commitment to clear communication, ensuring every patient feels informed and supported from consultation through recovery.
