TAM NGUYEN, APRN
Tam Nguyen is a nurse practitioner with more than 12 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular care. She is dedicated to helping patients improve both their health and quality of life through compassionate, collaborative, and minimally invasive vascular treatment.
Tam was drawn to healthcare through a desire to pursue a stable and meaningful career focused on helping others. Over time, her passion for patient care and lifelong learning strengthened her commitment to medicine. She was particularly drawn to vascular care because of its ability to combine minimally invasive procedures with highly effective outcomes that can significantly improve how patients feel and function.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Global and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Texas at Arlington. Throughout her career, Tam has practiced in both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular settings, caring for patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions. Her background includes experience managing peripheral arterial disease, chronic venous insufficiency, carotid artery disease, venous compression disorders, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and advanced cardiovascular conditions.
Prior to joining United Vein & Vascular Centers, Tam worked alongside multidisciplinary teams at leading academic and cardiovascular institutions, helping manage medically complex patients across a wide range of specialties. She has extensive experience collaborating with physicians, supporting procedural care, and guiding patients through diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up.
Tam’s care philosophy centers on honesty, transparency, and collaboration. She believes every patient deserves clear information and individualized care that aligns with their goals and values. Known for her strong attention to detail and compassionate approach, she strives to ensure patients feel respected, informed, and supported throughout their care journey.
