Dr. David Naar is a board-certified vascular surgeon and vein specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the surgical treatment of arterial and venous disease. He specializes in minimally invasive vascular procedures designed to restore circulation, prevent complications, and improve patients’ quality of life.

Originally from Colombia, Dr. Naar completed his medical degree at Javeriana University in Bogotá before moving to the United States to pursue advanced surgical training. He completed fellowships in both transplant and vascular surgery at world-renowned institutions, including the Medical College of Virginia and Staten Island University Hospital/SUNY Brooklyn. Over the course of his career, he has held attending positions at leading hospitals across the country, including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, University Hospitals, and Banner Health.

Dr. Naar is certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery. His experience spans open and endovascular procedures, complex limb salvage, carotid artery surgery, dialysis access, and chronic venous disease management.

Known for his honesty, compassion, and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Naar approaches every patient as an individual with their own goals, concerns, and challenges. He believes that great care begins with listening, educating, and developing a treatment plan tailored to each patient’s needs.
