Przez United Vein & Vascular Centers®

At United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC), recognizing those who make a meaningful difference in their communities is an important part of who we are. Throughout the school year, our partnership with Brenham Independent School District has allowed us to highlight outstanding educators and staff members whose dedication helps students learn, grow, and succeed.

As the school year comes to a close, we were proud to celebrate two individuals whose impact extends across the entire district through Brenham ISD’s District Teacher of the Year and District Paraprofessional of the Year recognitions.

This year, Brenham ISD celebrated these outstanding individuals in a unique way. Instead of a traditional end-of-year luncheon, district leaders visited campuses during the final week of school to surprise the recipients and recognize their achievements alongside colleagues and students.

District Teacher of the Year: Mrs. Mollie Grote

Mrs. Mollie Grote, Alton Elementary Teacher of the Year, is remembered as a shining light whose kindness, positivity, and servant’s heart left a lasting impact on students, staff, and families alike. She deeply believed in her students and worked tirelessly to ensure every child felt valued, encouraged, and capable of success.

Following her courageous battle with cancer, the Alton Elementary community experienced the heartbreaking loss of Mrs. Grote earlier this year. Even through difficult circumstances, she demonstrated incredible strength, grace, perseverance, and unwavering love for others.

With 18 years in education and 13 years serving Brenham ISD, Mrs. Grote’s legacy continues to live on through the countless lives she touched throughout her career. She is deeply missed and forever remembered by the students, families, and colleagues who had the privilege of knowing her.

As Brenham ISD honors Mrs. Grote as District Teacher of the Year, we join her family, colleagues, students, and the Alton Elementary community in celebrating her remarkable life, service, and lasting legacy.
