Dr. Ryan Rodriguez is a board-certified general surgeon and vein specialist with advanced surgical and critical care training who is dedicated to helping patients improve their health and quality of life through personalized, patient-centered care. Known for his compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, he strives to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient he treats.

Dr. Rodriguez earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate degree in Biology at Florida Gulf Coast University. He went on to complete a rigorous general surgery residency at the University of Florida Health Jacksonville, followed by fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Throughout his training, he gained extensive experience managing complex surgical, trauma, neurological, and critically ill patients in high-acuity settings.

His background in surgery and critical care has provided a strong foundation in procedural medicine, clinical decision-making, and multidisciplinary patient management. Dr. Rodriguez is particularly passionate about helping patients navigate complex medical conditions through thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and individualized treatment plans.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rodriguez has contributed to medical education and research throughout his career. He served as Head Teaching Assistant for the Anatomy Cadaveric Laboratory during medical school, overseeing a large team of teaching assistants and mentoring fellow students. He has also authored and co-authored multiple academic publications, including contributions to critical care literature and research focused on patient outcomes and procedural safety.
