ROMINA DELDAR, M.D.

Dr. Romina Deldar is a board-certified surgeon and vein specialist with advanced training in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery, bringing a unique blend of technical precision, aesthetic judgment, and compassionate care to the treatment of venous disease. She is dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life through individualized, minimally invasive vein treatments that address both functional symptoms and appearance.

Dr. Deldar was inspired to pursue medicine by her father and by a deep desire to be present for patients during uncertain and vulnerable moments. She values the responsibility that comes with guiding patients through important healthcare decisions and believes trust, empathy, and clear communication are foundational to excellent care.

She earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Her surgical background provides a strong foundation in anatomy, meticulous technique, and outcomes-driven care, skills she applies to every patient encounter in vein medicine.

Dr. Deldar was drawn to vein care for its ability to deliver meaningful, visible improvements while allowing for long-term patient relationships. She enjoys tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s needs and following patients longitudinally to ensure durable, high-quality results. Her clinical interests include chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, wound care, and comprehensive lower-extremity venous disease management.
