STEVEN KIM, M.D.

Dr. Steven Kim is a board-certified internal medicine, venous & lymphatic medicine specialist with more than a decade of experience diagnosing and treating venous insufficiency and related disorders. He is skilled in using advanced, minimally invasive techniques to help patients find lasting relief from leg pain, swelling, and varicose veins.

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center and completed his internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. His background in both medicine and industry has given him a unique, systems-based approach to patient care, combining clinical precision, communication, and collaboration to deliver the best possible outcomes.

Before joining United Vein & Vascular Centers, Dr. Kim served as a Medical Director and vein specialist in several outpatient practices, where he helped patients find relief from symptoms of venous disease through minimally invasive treatments. His leadership experience and hands-on approach to care reflect his commitment to providing safe, effective, and personalized treatment for every patient.

Known for his approachable style and emphasis on education, Dr. Kim believes that exceptional care starts with communication. He takes time to ensure every patient understands their diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term care plan. His goal is to help patients feel confident, informed, and comfortable throughout their care journey.
