We want to share that Dr. Charles Bellows is no longer practicing with United Vein and Vascular Centers (UVVC) effective May 16, 2024. We are incredibly grateful for the compassionate care and dedication he has provided to our patients.
While we will miss Dr. Bellows, we encourage you to continue your care with our exceptional team at UVVC, who is here to support you. Dr. Mordechai Twena, M.D. is currently accepting new patients. He is a highly experienced, board-certified surgeon and vein specialist.
Driven by a passion for helping others, Dr. Twena pursued a career in medicine to alleviate suffering and improve patients’ lives. He studied at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, where he earned his Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Medicine degrees.
Dr. Twena completed two residencies, one in Vascular Surgery at the Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California, and the other in General Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland, rotating between The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Union Memorial Hospital, and the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery.
