United Vein & Vascular Centers Expands Across Texas with New Frisco Clinic Opening

United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC), a national leader in vein and vascular care, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest clinic in Frisco, Texas on November 25th, 2024. Located at 5858 W Main Street, Suite 140, this new clinic marks another milestone in UVVC’s commitment to providing advanced, minimally invasive treatments to patients across Texas.

Leading the new Frisco clinic will be Dr. Harvey Echols, M.D., a seasoned specialist in venous and lymphatic medicine, alongside Dr. Patricia Mahoney, M.D., a board-certified surgeon and vein care expert. Together, they bring unparalleled expertise to the Frisco community, ensuring comprehensive and effective care for individuals dealing with vein-related issues.

At the Frisco location, patients will have access to UVVC’s full spectrum of treatments, designed to alleviate vein-related discomfort and improve circulation. Available treatments include:

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA): A gentle procedure using radiofrequency energy to target and close off veins.

VenaSeal™ Closure System: A modern approach that treats venous reflux, the underlying cause of varicose veins. Using a specialized medical adhesive, it effectively closes off the damaged veins, allowing blood flow to naturally reroute through healthy vessels and alleviating varicose vein symptoms immediately.

Varithena®: An FDA-approved microfoam sclerosant injected under ultrasound guidance. The foam expands to collapse and seal damaged veins, allowing blood to reroute to healthier nearby vessels, improving circulation and reducing symptoms.

Microphlebectomy: Also known as ambulatory phlebectomy, a minimally invasive procedure that removes large, bulging varicose veins. Using a tiny, hook-like instrument, the physician extracts the veins through small skin incisions, offering relief from discomfort and improving appearance.

Sclerotherapy: Ideal for larger veins, this procedure involves injecting an FDA-approved solution, known as a sclerosant, directly into varicose or spider veins. This treatment collapses the damaged veins, effectively sealing them to eliminate visible veins and related symptoms.

United Vein & Vascular Centers is a trusted provider of comprehensive vascular care, with over 45 locations across the United States.
