We want to share that Dr. Mario Kapusta will be leaving United Vein & Vascular Centers effective December 12th, 2024. It has been a privilege to have Dr. Kapusta part of our passionate team at UVVC, and we are incredibly grateful for the compassionate care and dedication they have provided to our patients.
While we will miss Dr. Kapusta, we encourage you to continue your care with our exceptional team at UVVC, who are here to support you. Dr. Liza Thalheimer is currently accepting new patients with medically symptomatic vein disease.
Dr. Liza Thalheimer is a board-certified surgeon and vein specialist who brings a passion for helping her patients to the UVVC team. Dr. Thalheimer earner her Doctor of Medicine degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed her residency at West Virginia University Charleston Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident.
Dr. Thalheimer values building strong relationship with her patients and prides herself on her compassionate care. She believes that treating patients as individuals is essential and emphasizes the importance of educating them about vein disease and treatment options in a clear and understandable manner. As she states, “Patient care is the most important aspect of medicine,” and “The well-being of each patient is my top priority.”
